These are the documents the planned program needs. They are an agreement map—not final contracts. Final language should match actual operations, insurance, licensing, equipment, and Illinois law, then receive attorney review before customers sign.
Installation Scope & Change Orders
Equipment, placement, selected loads, electrical work, permits, utility documents, inspection, site restoration, exclusions, and added work.
Generator Delivery & Recharge Addendum
Outage qualification, dispatch, priority, access, safe placement, fuel, operation, removal, delays, cancellations, the $195 battery-only and prepaid event fee, and no-per-event-fee generator-support inclusions.
Safety & Operating Rules
Load limits, emergency procedures, prohibited work, generator and carbon-monoxide safety, customer duties, and reporting damaged equipment.
Privacy & System Data Notice
Launch-interest communications, battery telemetry, outage and service records, security, retention, vendors, required disclosures, and customer privacy rights.
Move, Transfer, Removal & Cancellation
Notice, buyer qualification, transfer approval, deinstallation, restoration, unpaid amounts, permitted fees, and any cancellation rights required by law.
GENERATOR DELIVERY · REQUIRED ADDENDUM
Safe access, clear dispatch rules, defined inclusions.
The addendum should define a qualifying outage, service territory, request and dispatch method, priority, response targets, delivery location, outdoor operating rules, fuel and connection duties, supervision, repeat visits, removal, unsafe-site refusal, delays, cancellations, damage, third-party equipment, force majeure, and the exact billing rule for the $195 battery-only and prepaid event fee and the no-per-event-fee generator-support plans.
Current program disclosures

Segonix’s planned battery offering is separate from the customer’s electric utility and electricity supplier.

The initial planned service area is Chicagoland. Availability, permits, inspections, utility requirements, and installation rules are confirmed for each address.

Website descriptions, estimated savings, runtime examples, response targets, and launch plans are not promises or warranties.

Backup power and generator delivery are not guaranteed and must not be the sole emergency plan for life-critical equipment.

Generator support is conditioned on safe outdoor placement, lawful access, compatible equipment, weather, roads, fuel, crews, and the signed addendum.

The current $195 per-event generator fee applies to qualifying service under battery-only monthly and prepaid plans. Current generator-support plans have no separate per-event fee; the signed addendum controls final qualification, availability, inclusions, and billing.

Depending on the design and operating mode, utility interconnection review may be required. Local permits, inspections, and applicable electrical and fire-safety requirements are confirmed by address.

The launch-interest form does not store entries on this website. It prepares an email to Segonix in the visitor’s email application; the visitor must review and send it. Information sent by email may be used by Segonix to respond about launch and preorder updates.

An Illinois attorney and qualified insurance, electrical, tax, and safety professionals should review final customer documents before launch.

Portable generators require upkeep, safe placement, correct connections, and careful operation. Segonix is building Recharge Service so customers can refill the battery without buying, storing, or maintaining a portable generator at home.
Portable-generator safety
Safe outdoor operation is essential.
Never operate a generator in a home, garage, shed, or enclosed space. Keep it outdoors at least 20 feet from buildings, doors, windows, and vents, direct exhaust away, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and maintain working carbon-monoxide alarms.
